The Many Hands board traveled down to Abaco at the end of 2023 to vision cast for 2024. Before their arrival on the island, an Impact Team wrote each board member a letter to encourage and affirm them. Please let this letter also encourage, inspire, and affirm you.
Dear Many Hands Team,
We are writing to thank you for your efforts and support. It is because of Many Hands our 11 lives are forever changed. God has chosen each one of us for such a time as this! Our lives will multiply as we take our stories back to our families, communities, and churches. God is moving here at Camp Abaco.
We also write to you to encourage you in your own faith journeys and to continue your very important work with Many Hands. God has blessed this organization. The strong and faithful Bahamian people need and, more importantly, want us to be here. 11 American strangers pulled up in a van and descended on their homes, and they greeted us with warm dignity and gratitude. Praying for us with authority and reverence for God. They are a proud nation and deserve to be seen and not forgotten. Many Hands here in Abaco is an answer to their prayers. They are, like us, children of God. The calling is clear: TO BE LOVE IN ACTION!
