Building a House and Relationships

The Immanuel CRC IMPACT Team experienced building in more than one way–they saw the importance of connecting with others as part of building community. Hear how they used different “tools” for their workday and time at CAPS in this blog from Lorna and Brad.

Once again, it was down the white road to our destination of God’s work site that he and Many Hands assigned to us. The guys on our trip took the tools to work on a house that needed insulation, drywall, mudding, and taping.

Teamwork is what is required to get the job done. The interaction amongst the team and working in a small area brought us closer together (pun intended).

The 3 women on our team went to the local school where we used our tools for the day, which were whiteboards, markers, and books to help the teacher with the children. The interaction was rewarding and much needed for everyone.
